Light, Balanced, or Max: picking an intensity
Every forge starts with the same choice. Here's what each setting actually trades off, and how to pick without guessing.

Every forge starts with the same choice: how much should this video actually change. The three settings trade off the same way every time, so once you understand the trade, picking gets easy.
Light
Keeps the picture close to the source. Good for a small number of accounts, or for content where exact framing matters, like a product shot or a tutorial with on-screen steps.
Balanced
This is where most fleets land. Enough change to read as a different file, without touching the feel of the clip. If you're not sure which to pick, start here.
Max
Pushes frame, captions, and audio further apart from the source. Reach for it when you're posting to a lot of accounts on the same platform and want more margin between every copy.
None of the three settings make a video undetectable, and we're not going to tell you otherwise. Every variant gets checked the same way regardless of intensity, it only ships once it clears real distance from the source.
If you're still deciding, run a batch on Balanced and look at how it verifies. Push up to Max or down to Light from there once you know what your fleet actually needs.
