Overview

VideoForge is a tool for forging one source video into distinct variants that read as original to a platform's duplicate detection. This policy covers the website, the dashboard, and the forging pipeline.

What we collect

We collect three kinds of information:

• Account information. Your name, email address, and billing details when you sign up or upgrade a plan.
• Uploaded videos. The source files you upload to be forged, and the variants we generate from them.
• Usage data. Basic activity like which features you use, how many variants you run, and general performance and error logs.

How we use it

We use this information to run the forge, keep your account secure, respond to support requests, and improve the product. We don't use your uploaded videos to train models or build products for other customers.

Your uploaded content

We process your videos to produce your requested variants and hand the finished files back to you. We don't publish your content, claim any ownership over it, or share it with anyone outside the processing needed to run the forge. You can request deletion of your source files and variants at any time from your account, or by emailing support.

Sharing

We don't sell your data. We share information only with the infrastructure providers that host and process your files (for example cloud storage and compute), and only to the extent needed to run the service. Those providers are bound to protect your data under their own agreements with us.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to understand how the site is used. None of them are sold to advertisers.

Data retention

We keep account information for as long as your account is active. Uploaded videos and variants are kept until you delete them or close your account, after which they're removed from our systems within a reasonable period.

Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, to protect your account and files. No system is perfectly secure, so we also recommend using a strong, unique password on your account.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal information and uploaded content at any time. Reach out to support and we'll handle the request directly.

Changes

If we make a material change to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let you know by email.
